Peacefully at home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the age of 61. Beloved wife of Caryl. Loving mother of Shawn and Andre. Cherished daughter of Mable and the late Sylvester Whyte-Lettman. Dear sister of Lesford, Kenneth, Carlton, Valerie, Norma, Valdeth, Allison, Hopeton, Bolvin, Denton, Pauline and predeceased by Pamela. Yvonne will be forever loved by her extended family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Peace Community Church of Jesus Christ, 33 McCormack Street on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
