Smart, Wilson James (Royal Navy Veteran WWII) – peacefully at Canterbury Gardens Retirement Residence, Peterborough, on January 11, 2013 in his 94th year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Julia (nee Holwell). Loving father of Claude and his wife Carolyn, and proud Grand pa of Stephen (Tina) of Dalian China and Sarah of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by his sister Vina and predeceased by his brother Eric and sister Carrie. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Canterbury Gardens for your outstanding care and support. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Avenue) Weston on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Herring Neck, Newfoundland.
