Passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2011 at the age of 86. Loving and cherished husband of 62 years to wife Jean. Beloved father to Arnie (Arnott) and wife Kathy. Proud grandfather to Alexandra and doted on being a great grandfather to great grandson Russell. Special friend to his buddy Radar. Survived by his sister Florence, pre-deaceased by brothers and sisters Arnott, Marjorie, Dorothy and Carmen. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill was the proud owner of Charlton Shoes in Brampton a career where he made many life long friends. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street S. (Hwy #10), Brampton on Tuesday, October 4 from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 5, at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Brampton Cemetery.
