CHALMERS, William George, ARCHITECT
William passed away peacefully at Ian Anderson House, Oakville, on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, with loving family members by his side.
William was the devoted, loving husband of Eileen (Lee) Chalmers for 53 wonderful years. The rich tapestry of William and Lee’s life together was made up of countless world travels with enthralling and memorable life experiences.
William was predeceased by his mother, Ruby, and father George. He is survived by brothers Robert and Gordon, also several nieces and nephews. William’s devotion to family and loyalty to friends was greatly enhanced by his integrity and strength of character.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of William’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 9th, at 2:00p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home “Oakville Chapel”, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, 905-844-3221. Reception to follow.
