Wanda Flis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wanda Flis, on May 6, 2018, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by loving husband Richard. Cherished mother to Terry and Ashley. Survived by her brother Henry (Verleen) . Wanda will be greatly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Wanda adored her career as a primary, and ESL teacher for the Halton Catholic District School Board. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday May 10, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville. A Mass to celebrate Wanda’s life will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 at 1pm, at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. In memory of Wanda, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
