Retired Principal of the York Township School Board.
Peacefully at the age of 93 on Tuesday October 23, 2012.
Beloved husband of the late Ella Wild. Loving father of Linda and her husband Dave Lee of Markham, and the late David Wild. Cherished grandfather of Lindsay (Rob), Nicole (Dave), Steve (Kelly), and Rob (Adrienne). Great-grandfather of six. Walter will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday from 2 – 5pm.
A Celebration of Walters’ Life will be held at St. Matthews Anglican Church, 3962 Bloor St. W, Etobicoke on Monday October 29th, 2012 at 11am. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
