Walter George Nicholls (Wally)

Passed away peacefully in his 91st year on June 16, 2023 at Brantford Hospital, Brantford Ontario.
Born to parents William & May Nicholls, A dear brother to the late Ernie, (late Carrol), late Bill, (survived by Kay) late Gord (late Joyce) and survived by brother Tom (Dorothy) and sister Lorraine (late Bob)

Predeceased by his beloved wife of 26 years Shirley (Clarke). Together they had 5 children; Catherine, Lori, Sandra, predeceased by Debbie and Wally Jr.

He is dearly missed by his loving wife Patricia, 3 stepsons, 9 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandson, and many nieces and nephews.

Wally was an incredibly hard-working family man who loved the outdoors, hunting, boating, snowmobiling and was an avid fisherman.
He and Patricia enjoyed many happy years of retirement, fishing with family and friends.

He was well respected and admired for his years of leadership, dedication, tenacity and expertise in his legacy of work in the oil and gas industry. He enjoyed working with his many colleagues, and was a member of local 46 & local 527 for more than 50 years. Wally will be sadly missed and fondly remembered in the hearts of the people who knew him.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday June 20th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a funeral service to follow.
A reception will be held after the service, with a graveside service at Sanctuary Park afterwards.
