Walter Smith

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family in the Dorothy Ley Hospice, it is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our wonderful husband and father Walter Hugh Smith in his 76th year on November 9, 2014. Walter was the beloved husband of Carol, devoted father of Dale-Ann, Jeffery (Mary), Susan, Douglas and Jennifer. Adoring “Papa” to eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Walter worked as a Postal Carrier for 25yrs for Canada Post.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Friday, November 14 from 2-4 and 7-9pm .

A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 15 at 1:30pm .
Cremation to follow.
