KRUHL, Walter
Retired, 27 year employee of Redpath Sugar, Toronto.
Born in East Germany on August 22, 1921. Died peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday June 28, 2012, at the Dorothy Ley Hospice, Etobicoke at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Maria for 61 years. Loving Dad of Annemarie and her husband Tom Martens. Cherished Opa of Krista Lynn and Stephen Martens. Walter’s extended family includes Adolf and Edith Martens, Birgit and Mike and Matthew McCarthy. A Special thank you to the Dorothy Ley Hospice and to all the dedicated staff for their compassionate care at the end of Walter’s life. We thank you from all our hearts.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Tuesday from 7-9pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church (1415 Royal York Rd., Toronto) on Wednesday July 4th, 2012 at 9:30am. Cremation to follow. “We will all miss you. You are very loved by your whole family and friends. Aufwiedersehen mein Freund.”
