Proudly of Queen’s Science 48½. Walter was an engineer’s engineer. He was Mr. Fix-it at Kodak Mt. Dennis and St. John’s Anglican Church Weston. Walter was an avid curler in the Kodak curling league and at Weston G&CC.

He leaves behind his siblings
Elinor and Allender(Muriel); his wife of 59 years Mavis Headlam of Weston; 5 children: Rena Mary(Emerson),
Janet(Nigel), Robert(Deborah),
Paul, James(Cheryl); 10 grand
children: Clifford, Aaron,
Miriam(Elliott), Sarah, Maxwell,
Tyler, Trevor, Deseria, Ryan,
Andrew; 1 great grand-daughter: Kaitlynn, and nieces & nephews. Walter’s presence in their lives will be greatly missed. Walter was a good friend to many. With his ready smile and good sense of humour he was generous with his time and talents.

Abrams, his team, our family, and the many caregivers who made Walter’s desire to remain at home possible.

Visitation Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 pm at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 28th, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. John’s Anglican, 2125 Weston Rd. In lieu of flowers donations to St. John’s or the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care www.tlcpc.org. would be appreciated.
