Vittoria Fanello

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vittoria Fanello, a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend on August 7, 2026, at the age of 90. 

Vittoria was born on April 14, 1936, to Tommaso and Marianna, born the first of 9 siblings in San Nicola da Crissa, Provincia di Catanzaro, Italia.

Vittoria was a loving, outgoing, and energetic woman who lived life to the fullest. Strong, independent, and hardworking, she was deeply devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved. She had a special love for cooking and baking, sharing her delicious creations and creating cherished memories around the family table.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Grace and Frank, and is now reunited with her beloved daughter, Mary-Anne. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Tommy, Danny, Amanda, Mark, and Joshua, her many great-grandchildren, her siblings, many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great- nephews, and also extended family and friends.

Vittoria’s love, strength, and vibrant spirit will live on through the generations she leaves behind. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and lovingly remembered.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026 at St. Margaret Mary Parish (8500 Islington Avene, Woodbridge). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
