Viorica Stanescu

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday October 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Proud mother of Gabriel (Cristina) and Eduard. Cherished Bunica of Laura and Ines. Loving Strabunica of River Sterling and Lakeland. She will be sadly missed by her nephew Fernando (Daniela) and her extended family and friends.

Viorica has been reunited with her dear sister Elena who sadly passed on the exact date 7 years ago, and her beloved dog Bobby.

Born to parents Ion and Floarea in the small village of Isalnita, Dolj, Romania.

Viorica enjoyed spending time in her garden tending to her beautiful flowers or in her kitchen baking and cooking her traditional meals.

Viorica loved the many pets that she had over the years.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service to follow in the Ward Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Nashville Cemetery (10445 Huntington Road, Kleinburg).
