On the evening of April 29th, 2026, Violet passed away peacefully at the age of 78.

Violet was born to Grace and Ernest Parkes in 1947.

In June of 1969, Violet married Jim Dargue and together raised two daughters, Elizabeth and Rosemary.

Violet was a stay at home mom and a loving care giver not only to her own children, but to her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews.

She loved to laugh, and spend time with her friends at church and various community organizations. She had a heart that would give generously to anyone in need of help.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, surviving family members and friends.
