Passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 14th, 2013 at Kipling Acres Nursing Home. Vincent was a former teacher at George Brown College and a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran, father of Charlene Dawn Alkins – Carter, Grandfather of Courtney and Amanda Carter, uncle of Arleigh Holder, Wayne, Yolanda, Melinda and Dion McClean, brother of Lionel and Hilda McClean and the late Thelma Clarke. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 10 am to service time of 11 am in the Ward Chapel, followed by interment in Beechwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
