It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Venanzio (Vince) Volpatti on Thursday, October
1, 2015 after a valiant fight with leukemia. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years Romilda (nee Andreuzza), son Dennis (Lyn-Marie) and daughter Denise (Peter predeceased) and brother Jack (Gemma). Much loved Nonno to Jonathan (Erin) and Alexandra and Marcin. Dear uncle of Michael (Hanna) and Mechelle and Chris. Vince will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. The family will receive friends at the Ward Funeral Home , 2035 Weston Rd., (north of Lawrence Ave. W) Weston on Sunday October 4th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (2 Richardson Ave. Toronto) on Monday, October 5th at 9:30 am. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date at Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation or Humber Regional Hospital Foundation. Special thanks to Dr. Sheldon Katz, Dr. Jonathan Wilson, Dr. David Fishbein and Dr. Bernard Goldman and the kind and caring staff of Humber River Hospital Church Site.
