Victoria "Vicky" Stawecki

Victoria "Vicky" Stawecki, 97, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025.

Vicky was a fiercely intelligent and savvy businesswoman with an unwavering passion for learning that stayed with her throughout her life. She was devoted to her family, and her love and support shaped generations. Her greatest goal was to leave a legacy—not just in achievements, but in the lives she touched.

Vicky was known for her honesty, her sharp mind, and her no-nonsense approach to life. She never sugar-coated the truth, and those who knew her appreciated her candor and the strength of her convictions. She was the beloved wife of the late Jan Stawecki, and a devoted mother to her son Michael and her daughter in law Marilyn. She was a proud grandmother to Paul (France) and Angela (Paul) and great grandmother to Raphaelle. They will carry her spirit forward in their own lives.

She is survived by her dearly loved brother Len and sister in law Joan Wojcik. Vicky loved her ´favourite ´ niece Laura and nephew Doug (Joanne), along with their extended family. There were many family parties over the years where the family had wonderful times laughing and eating together. In her final years, Vicky loved living close to her family and cherished the time spent together.

The family would like to thank the team at The Village of Humber Heights and Home Instead for providing excellent support and care. She was very content and felt very safe there.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She would want us to get on with living our best lives.

A private Interment will be held after the Funeral Service.
