Veronica Stewart

Veronica A. Stewart “Girly” as she was known to family and friends was born in Kingston, Jamaica.  She came to Canada in 1979, and lived on Weston Road from one end to the other over the years and had many friends in the area. 

She is survived by 5 children, 14 grand children, 8 great grand children and 1 great great grand child, 2 sisters, 1 brother, cousins, nieces, nephews, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and many friends.   

After having a series of strokes, she was admitted to Mackenzie Health Long-term care home to be near family.  On May 4 she took ill and was admitted to the Mackenzie Health Hospital where she died on May 20, 2024. 

She was loved and will be greatly missed.
