It is with deep sadness that the family of Veron Clive Johnson, affectionately known as “Bunny” and “Eggball,” announces his passing in Toronto at the age of 72. Born on December 13, 1953, Veron will be remembered for the love, warmth, and companionship he shared with those around him.

Veron transitioned home on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

A loving and devoted father, grandfather, sibling, and friend, Veron treasured the time he spent with his family and created memories that will remain in their hearts forever.

Veron is lovingly remembered by his children, Livingston Johnson, Dwight Johnson, and Jermaine Johnson; his former spouse, Angella Johnson; and his adopted daughter, Shakera Deans.

He was a proud grandfather to Akhiem Johnson, Vanessa Johnson, Logan Johnson, Amari Johnson, Jayden Johnson, Demar Johnson, Kaliyah Johnson, and Ethan Johnson.

He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Lorraine Allison, Sharon Gregory, and the extended family.

Veron found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved playing dominoes, spending time at the park, and sharing a smoke and a drink with family and friends. Those who knew him will remember his unmistakable presence, his unique personality, and the many cherished moments they shared with him.

Although Veron is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Veron will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. Rest peacefully, Veron. Your memory will remain forever in our hearts.
