It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Verna Burke on July 29 at
Brampton Civic Hospital. Cherished mother of Joanne Belgrave, Caroline Haynes and Elsa Smith. Proud grandmother of David, Karen, Theresa, Christina, Charlene, and Bri-Anne. Great grandmother of
Julian, Nakita, Jaiden, Jocelyn and Gabryel. She will be remembered with love, songs, and laughter by all
family and friends. Visitation for Verna will be held at The WardFuneral Home (52 Main St. South;
Brampton, ON) on Wednesday August 19, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be offered at
Bramalea Free Methodist Church (355 Howden Blvd, Brampton, ON) at 11:00 a.m. on August 20 2015.
