Peacefully on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at the age 71. Beloved brother of Bob (Gail), John (Wendy), and Jim (Ann). Loving uncle Rob, Jason, Kierstin, Travis “TJ”, Ryan, Jeffery, Amanda, Scott, and Amanda. Predeceased by his parents William and Ivy Cook, and his partner Dorothy Eaton. Vern will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Saturday March 5, 2016 from 2:30pm until the time of service in the chapel at 3:30pm.
Cremation to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Humber River Hospital – Oncology Department would be greatly appreciated.
