Venton Earl Baker

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Venton Earl Baker, who died on December 6, 2025, at the age of 68.

Venton was born on November 15, 1957, in Stokeshall, St. Thomas, Jamaica, and passed away in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. He leaves behind his four children: Ruth, Luke, Jonathan, and Chris Baker.

Venton worked as a taxi driver in the city of Toronto for many years before retiring in 2013. He was a lover of music and reading, a Christian, and enjoyed travelling.

In his later years, Venton was known to be quiet and reserved, spending much of his time reading devotionals and reflecting on the will of God.

He will be remembered by his children and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
