Vasilios Diamantakos

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vasilios Aristomenis Diamantakos on January 13th, 2026, at the age of 92.

Born in Petrina, Greece, on August 18th, 1933, he cherished time spent with his family, and enjoyed sharing stories of both his life as a young boy in Petrina, and his life in Canada.

He will be remembered for his wisdom, his encyclopedic memory, and for his warm smile when he would hear everyone is well.

He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Stavroula, sons Aristomenis (Kira) and Nicholas, grandchildren Alexander, Matthew (fiancée Sarah), Ethan, Thomas, and step grandson Alex.

Join us at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church at 1 Brookhaven Drive, on Wednesday January 21st, 2026 at 10am, followed by a Service at 11am, and final resting place at Beechwood Cemetery, Section 18.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hellenic Home for the Aged - Toronto.
