Peacefully ended his journey after 96 years on August 1, 2011. Beloved husband to the late Assunta. Loving father to the late Vittoria (Gregorio), Giovanna (Enrico) and Steve D. (Anna). Dear Nonno to Robert (Irene), Michael, and Melissa (Tony). He will be missed by his family in Italy, Maria (Italo) and her daughter Romina, and his great great granddaughter Chiara and all of his nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Roch’s Church 2889 Islington Ave. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 10am. Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Lung association or to Villa Charities.
