Tom "Tase" Karatsoreos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tom Karatsoreos at the age of 85. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Tom leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to family.

Tom was the beloved husband of Evanthia for 54 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Anna (Sandro), his late son Chris, and Tulla (Frank). A proud and cherished Dedo to Nicholas, Alessia, Julia, Alexander, and Franco Junior.

Tom is survived by his dear brother George (Cheryl) and his extended family, including his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Fane (late husband Vangeli), Chris (Aliki), Semo (Stefania), Roda (Adam), and Nitsa. He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

He is now reunited in eternal peace with his beloved son Chris, his parents John and Sveta, and his siblings Sandra (George), Chris (Vessa), and Tsela (Nase).

Tom’s pride and joy were his grandchildren, each of whom brought immense happiness and purpose into his life. He took every opportunity to share in their milestones, celebrate their achievements, and surround them with love. Tom found great fulfillment in staying active, and he could often be found tending to his garden—a passion that reflected his patience, care, and appreciation for life’s simple beauties.

Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to live in the hearts of those who loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who went before him.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ward Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel. Interment to follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
