Tina Petro November 

21 1935 - August 20 2025 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Petro (née Sideris) peacefully on August, 20th 2025. Tina was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Constantine “Costa” Petro. 

She leaves behind her loving sons, Peter (Olga), Chris (Carmina), her brother Angelo (Thelma), her sister Sula, and her cherished grandchildren Michael (Dana) and Julia; and great-grandson Ryan. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephew, Helen, Dorothy, Linda, and David. 

Tina was a devoted mother, baba, sister, teta, and friend, and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. 

Tina was born on November 21, 1935, to Pando and Melina Sideris in Prekopana, Macedonia. She dedicated her life to her family and friends, sharing love, wisdom, her incredible cooking and infamous Zelnik.

 Many thanks to Malton Village Long Term Care for their kind and compassionate care of Tina. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel - 2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:45 AM at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, 1570 Royal York Rd, Etobicoke.
