Tina Francavilla

Teresa Francavilla (née Cordua), born on February 17, 1939, in Rocca di Neto, Italy, passed away peacefully at home on December 18, surrounded by the love of her family.

Teresa was the devoted wife of the late Francesco Francavilla and a loving and selfless mother. She was predeceased by her beloved son Eugenio, husband of Diana, and is now reunited with him and her husband.  She is survived by her loving children: Marisa and her husband Rob Litrenta, and Paul.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren, who adored her: Alyssa, John, Francesca, Elisa, Luca, Laura and Frankie.

Teresa’s life was defined by faith, resilience, and deep devotion to her family. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Elsa, her devoted caregiver, for her loving, compassionate care and unwavering kindness, which brought comfort and peace to Teresa in her final years.

A private viewing will be held in keeping with her wishes. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at All Saints Parish, Etobicoke, on Tuesday, December 23 at 10:00 a.m. A private burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
