Tibor Daranyi

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tibor Daranyi, who passed away in August 2026, at the age of 47.

He will be deeply missed by his brother Zsolt (Nicola) and his beloved nieces Gina, Julie, Ottila, and Evika, and nephews Zsolt Jr., Tibike, and Otika. He will also be lovingly remembered by his dear friends Tim, Ani, Marianna and Tibor, along with the many family members and friends whose lives he touched.

Tibor was a kind, generous, and giving man whose presence brought warmth and happiness to those fortunate enough to know him. He was a very social and fun-loving person who loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He had a wonderful way of making people feel welcome and enjoyed sharing laughter, good conversation, and special moments with those he loved.

Tibor had a love for life and enjoyed travelling, dancing, and cooking. He had a great sense of style and took pride in expressing himself. One of his greatest joys was his beloved puppy, Barky, who brought him companionship and happiness.

As a man of strong faith, Tibor had a deep and unwavering love for Jesus. His faith was an important part of who he was and brought him comfort, strength, and hope throughout his life.

Tibor’s kindness, generosity, joyful spirit, and love for those around him will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he is deeply missed, he will always be remembered with love, gratitude, and cherished memories.

May he rest in peace. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge (4671 Highway 7). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

As per Tibor’s wishes, he will be privately cremated following the Funeral Service.
