Passed away peacefully on November 21, 2013, surrounded by her family at the age of 90.Predeceased by her loving husband Rocco. Beloved mother to Elena Di Pietro ( Cesare), Joseph Zavaglia (Marg), and Sam Zavaglia (Rita). Cherished nonna to Francesco, Tiziana, Cesare, Daniele, Rocco, Jason, Anthony, Natalie, Emily and Samantha, and devoted bisnonna to 17 great grandchildren Cesare, Sierra, Sam, Alessia, Daniel, Anthony, Aleshia, Joseph, Gabriel, Tristan, Logan, Jacob, Max, Riley, Sam, Isabella and Olivia
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, 150 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge on Monday November 25 2013 at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Arthritis and Diabetes Foundations would be greatly appreciated by the family.
