Teresa passed away peacefully on Sunday December 31,2023, at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Loris. Proud Mother of a very devoted and loving son Leonard and loving daughter Christina and Husband Craig. Nonna to Brandon and Michelle (Alex) and a proud "Nonna B" to her beautiful Great Grand Daughters, Alexis and Kamryn who constantly put a smile on her face. Teresa will be sadly missed by many friends and family.

Teresa was a strong woman who endured quite a hard and challenging life. She was taken out of school at 13 years old to go to work to help support her family. She married Loris and soon after became a widow at age 35. She was left with 2 small children and aging parents and all the responsibilities. She managed to pull through the hardest of situations and did whatever was necessary to raise her family. Through many medical issues during her last 10 years, she always accepted and dealt with her setbacks with dignity and was an inspiration to all of us.

Thank you to the Palliative Care unit at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for making her final days as comfortable as possible.

Family and Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto on Friday January 5th, 2024 between 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Funeral Service to take place Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:30am in the Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 8361 Yonge Street in Thornhill.
