Telesforo Teofilo Lozada "Telo" passed away at the age of 77 on Monday February 25th, 2013 after months of battling MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome). He also suffered a stroke in November. But most recently he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. Telo had spent most of February at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Throughout all the pain and suffering his family was there everyday by his side to support him and care for him. He died in peace surrounded by his wife and daughters.

Beloved husband of Norma for over 45 years. A very much loved father of Claudia and her husband Dominic, Michelle and her husband Domenic. A very special Nonno of Steven, Nicolas, Erica, Michael and Alexander. They have beautiful and fun memories of playing and laughing with him. They also have lots of pictures and videos that they will always cherish. Telo was a good man, a wonderful father and an amazing grandfather. He loved his son-in-laws as if they were his own sons.

The Lozada family also wants to thank all their dear family and friends in the Toronto area as well as those in Argentina, Germany and Spain who have been by their side and in spirit during this sad and difficult time.

Telo was born in Argentina on January 8, 1936. He was the second of 6 siblings. Telo was very active as a young man. He had a strong love for the outdoors. He was also very social, had many friends, he liked sports, and had a hobby with electronics. He and Norma married in December of 1967 and moved to Toronto, Canada the year after. He worked hard his entire life. He had a number of different jobs and had a strong work ethic. This is one of the greatest qualities that he taught his daughters. In Argentina Telo worked for Industrias Kaiser Argentina and with Renault. In Canada in the 1970s he worked at the Bank of Commerce in administration and also with Skyline Hotel as a bartender. Most of his occupation however, was spent as a sub-contractor in security systems for Romex Alarms, Security Link, and ADT.

Telo is predeceased by his grandson Matthew who I'm sure will be playing with him in the gardens of Heaven. Telo will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will remain in our hearts forever. Everything of this earth and on this earth turns to dust, but in Jesus Christ everything truly good is eternal, including the relationships we prize the most.
