Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 following a brief illness. Edward Thomas James Walter beloved husband of Ruth (nee Mason) for 47 wonderful years. Loving father of Stephen and his wife Danielle, Christopher and his partner Samantha and Karen and her husband Mark. Cherished Grandpa of Alyssa, Brendan, Mathew, Hayley, Breckin, Emmerson and Tylor. Dear brother of Lynda Kouyoumjian (Haigie) and Jim and his partner Corinne. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10) Brampton on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Christ Church Anglican, 4 Elizabeth Street North, Brampton on Saturday, December 12 at 11 a.m. Interment Churchville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Christ Church Anglican or Canadian Diabetes Association.
