Peacefully, passed away, surrounded by his family, after a full life, on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his beloved wife Elsa. Loving father of Maria (Fred) Alonzi, Dennis (Bernadette Wainman) and Steven (Rosanna). Cherished Nonno of Francis (Michelle), Daniel (Jennifer), Emily (Christopher), Eric, Elisa, Philip, Adam, Marc and great grandchildren Lucia, Julia, Anthony, Freddy and Emma. Dear brother in law of Suor Maria Concetta Focaccia, Zita (Malvino) Bortolotto and Renzo (Nancy) Focaccia. Predeceased by his 13 brothers and sisters. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Monday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
