Peacefully went to be with the Lord at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Friday September18, 2015, age 99 years. Loving and caring husband of Joan for 35 years. Dear father of Elizabeth Thomas and her husband Paul. Poppa to Jonathan Thomas and Lisa Okihiro and her husband David. With great joy , great poppa to Gemma Dawn Okihiro. He is predeceased by his brother Hugh Dawson Mitchell , July 2015, (Thames Ditton, England, age 100). Friends and family are invited to visit at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, on Monday September 28, 2015 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Service in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. There will be a reception following the Service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
