Peacefully on Friday June 17,2011 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Forbes (1999). Loving mother of Gary (Annette) and Diane Simon (Peter). Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Allison), Jennifer, Scott (Wendy), Stuart (Glory), Andria (1994), Michelle (Matthew), and Jennifer (Roman) and great-grandmother of Lukas, Alexandria, Aiden, Abigail, Mekiah and Conner. Predeceased by her brothers and sister Charles, William, Lillian, Allan and Thomas. Sylvia will be greatly missed and remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road Toronto Ontario on Monday June 20th, 2011 from 1:30pm until the time of the service in the Chapel 2:30pm. Cremation to follow.
