Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, Ontario on Tuesday April 24th, 2012, Syd Barratt, at the age of 81. Predeceased by his wife Beverley. Beloved father of Gord (Nancy). Loving Grandpa of Laurie and David. Dear brother of Vi Bisritz (Victor). Remembered by Marg Oliver and family and friends. Resting at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:30am. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Northumberland Hills Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
