Steven "Stevie" George LaHay

Steven George LaHay

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven. He was surrounded by family and friends at William Osler Hospital at his time of death on March 30/24. We would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, and PSW’s who were amazing in caring for Steven.

Steven leaves behind his wife Suzanne, his Son Steven, his daughter Sara (Ronnie) his sister Claudette “Cookie” and her partner Rodney. Steven also leaves his brother Patrick (Carol) and many nieces and nephews.

Steven was a charismatic person who touched the lives of many whether it be from his first home of Jane and Finch, which he loved and cherished growing up in. The people he knew and the experiences he had were near and dear to his heart. He had many stories about growing up in Jane and Finch and when he visited in the years after, just touching the ground, it felt like home.

Steven had a great life. He enjoyed watching the leafs, dancing, listening to all types of music, and loved to bet on horses. Steven enjoyed life and it was filled with lots of friends and family. He also had lots of friends who became like family.

Steven was Loved by many, and he will be missed. ❤️🌹

Following the service, guests are invited to join the family for a reception in the main level condo community room at 9 St. Stevens Court in Etobicoke.
