Stephen Joseph Meyer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend and partner, Stephen Joseph Meyer at the age of 67, on September 2, 2026, at his home in Vaughan, Ontario.

Stephen spent much of his career as a project manager in construction. His work reflected the same qualities he brought to everyday life—intelligence, attention to detail, and a calm nature.

He was a quiet man with a brilliant mind and a gentle soul. He saw depth where others saw simplicity and found meaning in words, ideas, and silence. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and wisdom that will continue to live on in those who knew him.

He is survived by his partner, Anna; daughter Victoria (Kassee); grandson Brody (son of Victoria); son Hendrik Jr. (Meagan); mother of his children, Kelly (Barry); brother Andrew (Karen); nieces, Kristen (Chris) and Elin (Ray); extended family members; and friends.

Stephen was predeceased by his mother; Betty (2018); his father, Hendrik Sr. (2016); of his hometown, Brampton, Ontario.
