Stella Marchioni

Stella passed peacefully in her home on November the 18th, She will be sorely missed by everyone that was close to her and with whom she shared life and joy. She will especially be missed by her son Mauro and daughter in law Carmen together with her grandchildren Adam and Christina, David and Alex, Andrea and Justin together with her great grandchildren Maisie, Lou, Wyatt, Max, Mia and Violet and her son Robert and daughter in law Vanessa together with her grandchildren Christian, Nicolas, Justin and Zachary. She is also survived by her Sister Maria and her children Paola, Micheal as well as her brother Anthony and his wife Denise and their son Steven as well as her brother Adam and his children Frank, Anne and Mark.

Stella lived to the grand age of 91. She came to Canada as a young woman with her husband and son. She devoted herself to her family, both immediate and extended, as her life was one of giving. Whether it was fixing clothing (as she was a seamstress by trade) or cooking up a last minute lasagna because one of her grandchildren wanted one, Nonna never said she couldn't do something asked of her by her family. She was quick to share a recipe or hold an impromptu cooking class when necessary. Nonna will be missed by all but we take solace in the knowledge that she is looking down on us and asking us to celebrate our time with her and to cherish the memories we have. Rest in peace Nonna.
