Stella Mary Dushenko
Passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023 at the Mill Creek Long-term Care in Barrie at the age of 89.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter (2007).
Loving mom of Wally (Julie), Lynne (Cleo) Ducharme and the late Brian.
Cherished Baba of David (Stephanie), Brian (Alex) and Daniel.
Stella was born in Copper Cliff, ON on June 5, 1934 to John and Mary Loziak. She met her future husband and married him on June 6, 1952. Together they enjoyed raising their three children and providing the “Best Italian Sausage” in Weston, as owners of Steer Meat Market (Wally the friendly butcher).
Stella and Walter spent many wonderful years at the family cottage on Sparrow Lake with their children and grandchildren; boating, fishing, skiing, swimming and creating lifelong memories.
In Stella’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
