Peacefully, after a courageous battle with family by her side on Monday February 27, 2012 at the Humber River Regional Hospital- Church site, Sophie Malkos at the age of 85. Dearly beloved wife of the late Demetrios. Loving mother of Danny (Patty), Susan (Al), Paul and Peter. Cherished Baba of Jay (Ellen), James, Derek, Bryan and Steven and Great-Baba of Reagan and Jackson. Dear sister of George (Marika), Helen (late Jim) and the late John (Anastasia). Sadly missed by her many relatives. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd., (North of Lawrence Ave. West. ), Weston from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service to be held at the Funeral Home Friday 10 a.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. Many thanks to Dr. Sagman and the nursing staff at Humber Hospital for their kindness and care.
