It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sophie on Friday, February 22nd , 2019 at MacKenzie Place Longterm Care.
Loving mother of Frieda and of Thomas (Linda).
Beloved grandmother “Baba” of Robert, Alex, Shannon (Jeff) and Ryan (Carly) and great-grandmother of Perrie.
Sophie was a dear sister of Ordana, Katina and Emmanuel as well as the late Pantelis and Christos. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Monday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm
A funeral service will be held at Sts. Constantine & Helen Orthodox Church, 1 Brookhaven Drive, Toronto on Tuesday February 26th at 10am
Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
