Switzer, Sonia (nee Melnitzky)
After a courageous struggle, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2011, in Ajax, ON, at the age of 86. Predeceased by her beloved and adoring husband, Ernie and by her brothers, Mike, Harry, John & Freddy , and sister Anna Duncan. She is survived by her sister Mary Andersen. Sonia will be sadly missed by her large family of nieces and nephews. Sonia was a true lady and she will forever be in the hearts and thoughts of all who knew her.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
A Graveside service to be held on Saturday at 10:30 am at Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation, and to the Toronto Humane Society.
