Silvano in his 90th year, passed peacefully on January 14, 2023.

Born on March 25, 1933 in Pasiano, Pordenone, Italy to parents Maria & Giovanni.

Husband to Giovanna (Nina) Pietrobon for 65 years. Father to Roy (Nadine) and Oscar (Jennifer Conforzi). Dear Nonno to James (Melanie), and Noah, Abby & Adrian.

Great-grandfather to Ethan.

Brother to Luigi (late Gina), Adriana (late Vincenzo), Rosetta (Elio), Bruno (Gloria), late Joe (Angela) and Lucy (Paolo). Special in-law to Enrica (Frank) and late Irena (Luigi), and others residing in Italy and Australia.

He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and long-time friends.

Silvano shared his love for cooking with family and friends.  He always enjoyed tending to his garden and spending precious time with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, Weston from 2 pm - 8 pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Thurs. Jan. 19 at 10:30 am in the chapel with a reception to follow. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery,  7300 Hwy 27 Woodbridge.  In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated by the family.
