Shelley Buttimor

Shelley Buttimor passed on November 21st, 2018. She was the beloved daughter of John and Monica, sister of Geoffrey (Donna), aunt of Eric, Bryan and Sarah (Jeff), and companion of Roye Bello. Shelley was blessed in having many loving friends that supported and comforted her. She was a music graduate of Queens University, specializing in piano. While there she played inter-collegial hockey. She also attended Nipissing University specializing in education and taught french for several years. Following that she had a lengthy and successful career in IT. Shelley loved tennis and hockey; she enjoyed playing with the Rexdale Women’s Hockey League. Shelley, also gained great joy from her association with the Namgyal Yangzab Buddhist Community of Canada.

Shelley has been cremated and a visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road between 6:00 and 9:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28th. A celebration of life will be held early in the new year. In lieu of flowers donations to Ovarian Cancer Canada would be greatly appreciated.
