Sheila Ann Chiasson (Cornell)
After a long illness, at Brampton Civic Hospital, Sheila Ann Chiasson (Cornell) passed away peacefully. She will be reunited with the love of her life, Mike Chiasson, with whom she shared a deep and loving bond.
Sheila was predeceased by her parents and grandparents. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Carol Raine Stennett, her brother Ray, her cherished nieces and nephews, and former sister-in-law and friend Melissa.
She will also be deeply missed by her two beloved dogs, Daisy and River, who she proudly called her fur babies.
Sheila spent many years as a fierce and devoted advocate for Mike throughout his battle with Multiple Myeloma. Her strength, loyalty, and unwavering love were a testament to the kind of person she was.
Sheila loved to travel and treasured the memories she made along the way, until her health made travelling more difficult. She was a warm and social person who loved live music, theatre, and most of all, being surrounded by people. She had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went.
Sheila was known for her beautiful smile and her unforgettable laughter, which could be heard across even the most crowded room. Her warmth, spirit, and zest for life touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Sheila will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love she gave so freely.
Sheila's memorial service will take place at Ward's Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, on Thursday, September 3 from 2-4pm
