Sharon Marion Young (nee Oxford)

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Sharon (Marion) Oxford Young on April 9, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born on December 30, 1946, Sharon lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years, William Young, whom she married on April 11 1969, and who stood faithfully by her side through every chapter of their life together. Their marriage was a true partnership, filled with love, laughter, and enduring commitment.

Sharon was a cherished mother to Steven (with his wife Eden) and John (with his wife Paula), and a proud and loving grandmother to Shannon, David, Will, and Michael, who brought her endless joy and pride.

She will also be dearly missed by her sisters Ann and Judy, her sisters-in-law Helen, Anne, and Brenda, and was predeceased by her sister Debbie, along with many cherished friends whose lives were touched by her gentle spirit and generous heart.

Sharon’s kindness, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
