Sharon Elaine Wyllie

On January 10, 2025, Sharon Elaine Wyllie, passed away suddenly in her home in her 77th year . Sharon gained strength from God as she bravely fought cancer in the last 12 years. Predeceased by her parents William and Frances (Morgan) Wyllie.

Beloved sister of Gordon (Elaine) Wyllie and Ron (Mary) Wyllie. Cherished Aunt to her nephew Andrew Wyllie (Tonya Wyllie), nieces Erin Wyllie (Al Bourke) and Laurel Wyllie (Christopher DiCecca), great nephew Keith and great nieces Faye and Alice.

Sharon was proud of all her immediate and extended family and friends' achievements. She was generous in her community and had many roles in life. Sharon was a presence all on her own, known for never shying away from a hug… or dozen and asking those who entered her life to refer to her as Auntie Sharon. Sharon made it her passion to get to know whoever crossed her path, making them feel welcomed and important through her kindness. Sharon was caregiver to her parents, where she gained her wealth of knowledge of the family’s history, which she shared with the younger generations as matriarch of the family.

Sharon lived for the little things; walks near the water, time with family pets, enjoying the countryside or being immersed in the warm chatter of a family gathering. Had a strong knowledge of history and was always up to date on current events.

Sharon's Christian faith carried her through life. The family finds peace in knowing Sharon is with her parents and predeceased family in Heaven. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 10:30 am at Riverside Chapel- 1567 Royal York Road, Etobicoke, followed by Internment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
