Savino Del Degan, having just reached his 83rd birthday, passed away in his home after a valiant struggle with bladder cancer. In his last few months, he was surrounded by the care and love of his devoted partner Laura Pawlina, his son Gianni along with wife Paula, his grandchildren Christina, Steven, and Matthew, his brother Manlio with wife Angie and his big sis Diva. Savino's passion for life and joie de vivre were shared generously with his treasured family and friends both in his country of origin, Italy, and his beloved Canada. Savino's career exemplifies the classic, immigrant success story. His unflagging work ethic and determination secured him a place as one of the original leaders in the home building industry. He will always be remembered for his integrity, spirited presence and devotion to his family.
