Sarah Agnes "Sally" Burwell

Sarah Agnes “Sally” Burwell passed away at The Village of Humber Heights at age 84, after a prolonged illness.

Born in Toronto on April 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Roberta (McEachran) Burwell of Chatham. She was predeceased by her sisters Barbara Burwell, Margaret Joan Shea (Tom), and Janet Bell (Ken).

Sally grew up in Chatham and attended McKeough Public School and C.C.I. She graduated from Brescia College (U.W.O.) and completed postgraduate studies in Psychology at the U. of O. She then lived at the Village on the Grange in Toronto and worked at the Department of Justice.

She is survived by her nieces Rebecca Shea (the late Edward Schmitchen), Katherine Hitchcock (John), Kathleen Bell (Steven), Margaret Bell; her nephew John Shea (Margit); and several great-nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
