It is with sadness we announce the serene passing away of our dear mother, Santina Maria Buccilli (nee Gismondi) at the home of her son Robert, daughter-in-law Pamela and grandson Alexander Buccilli, witnessed by Robert as she took a final short untroubled breath at 6:30 am on June 9, 2021, following a lengthy battle with dementia.

Santina was born in Sora, Italy on Jan. 2, 1929. Our dearest mother was a simple, charitable and loving workaholic whose resounding message was one of peace.

Beloved and predeceased by;
Father Domenico Gismondi and mother Palma (nee) Dipoce Husband, Aurelio Buccilli
Brothers; Antonio, Loreto, Giuglio, Vincenzo, Armando Gismondi and Fiore Parravano

Survived by her;
Sons, Leonardo, Robert (Pamela) Buccilli
Grandchildren, Alexander, Gian Paolo, Marie Christine and Luca Gabriel Buccilli
Brothers, Mario, Antonio and Ettore Gismondi
Sisters, Ginetta Cerato and Maria Mastroianni
Including extended families in Canada, Italy and France.

Effective March 15th, 2021, as per the mandate of the Bereavement Authority and to safely manage adhere to social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation.

Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory as per the Provincial Regulations.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral service Mass and entombment will be private.
